Moutnasser Aweidah
22 years old, Palestinian.
Studies Hotel Management
"I'd like to have a Palestinian passport. Why should I be at the mercy of the Israeli government? I play football, the exercise serves as an outlet. I'll manage my father's hotel, it's the family tradition. It's not doing very well, though, there's a lot of competition and the Israelis have lots of advantages and power. We pay the same taxes, but in East Jerusalem there are no utilities." |
Yaela Vahab

Works as waitress and studies kindergarten teaching
"My husband is the most precious thing in my life. I'd like to live in the desert with a mountain - covered in sheep, water and fruit trees - in the middle. And run a kindergarten with Israeli and Palestinian children." |
