Moutnasser Aweidah 22 years old,
Palestinian. Studies Hotel Management "I'd like
to have a Palestinian passport. Why should I be at the mercy
of the Israeli government? I play football, the exercise serves
as an outlet. I'll manage my father's hotel, it's the family
tradition. It's not doing very well, though, there's a lot of
competition and the Israelis have lots of advantages and power.
We pay the same taxes, but in East Jerusalem there are no utilities." |
Yaela Vahab 23 years old, Israeli.
Works as waitress and studies kindergarten teaching
"My husband is the most precious thing in my life. I'd like
to live in the desert with a mountain - covered in sheep, water
and fruit trees - in the middle. And run a kindergarten with
Israeli and Palestinian children." |
