WHAT FOLLOWS IS A LISTING of banned books and the country responsible for the censorship. Although most of the titles would be classified as historical revisionism, CODOH opposes all such censorship of books. CODOH will attempt wherever possible to establish these banned titles on line. Below you will find only a fraction of such banned titles. Despite the banning and even burning of a number of these titles, organizations dedicated to fighting such censorship including the American Library Association, refuse to mention these books, invoking a censorship of their own.  It is an insidious version of what Harry Barnes called the "historical blackout."
