CODOH is an independent voice encouraging intellectual freedom regarding the most controversial historical question of our time -- what actually happened during the "Holocaust" and what did not. CODOH is not a membership organization, and we have no financial or legal ties with any other organization or group. The CODOH Webpage (CODOHWeb) was created by volunteers and has been developed and maintained by volunteers alone. When we launched this site in 1995, documents were being accessed less than 100 times during each 24-hour period. Today the figure is well over 20,000 a day, and on some days more than 40,000. CODOHWeb was the first to publish Roger Garaudy's The Founding Myths of Modern Israel in English on the Web. When the German government began its persecution of Germar Rudolf, censored and burned (!) his Dissecting the Holocaust, and condemned him to jail, CODOHWeb published Dissecting on this Website in German and beamed it right back into the Fatherland. CODOHWeb was also the first to publish the full manuscript of Rudolf's Dissecting in English. CODOHWeb was the first to publish the writings of Samuel Crowell, including his remarkable The Gas Chamber of Sherlock Holmes. The CODOHWeb Discussion Forums are the most objectively moderated revisionist forums on the Web and produce tens of thousands of hits weekly. For more than five years CODOHWeb has served as the primary portal for revisionist theory on the World Wide Web. But CODOHWeb is not the entire CODOH story. CODOH's Campus Project has helped make revisionism a household word in America and all over the English speaking world. CODOH info-advertisements have been published more than 400 times in colleges and universities all over America. They have produced hundreds of stories in the campus and mainline press, helping to inform people that there is, indeed, contrary to what the Deborah Lipstadts would have you believe, "another" side to the Holocaust story. Now CODOH and CODOHWeb have come to a turning point. If we are going to continue to build this site, if we are going to be able to utilize the new audio and video technology that is being developed, if we are going to be able to develop a stable of revisionist researchers and writers that we can depend on, we must have financial support. We can't put it off any longer. The site, and the work, has simply outstripped the capacity of the handful of volunteers that has brought us this far. We need help. Professional help. We understand that revisionist theory is not a political theory but a scholarly undertaking. At the same time, we understand that revisionism has a profound political significance which, as it is mainlined, will have profound political consequences.We understand how dangerous it can be for individuals in the real world to risk being compromised, either professionally or socially, by open association with an historical theory that is so widely condemned by what even Jewish scholars are beginning to refer to as the "Holocaust Industry." CODOH will never be compromised by those special interest organizations whose mission it is to suppress, censor, and finally "outlaw" independent thinking and publishing regarding the Holocaust question. CODOH will never compromise itself by using the methods of those who fear intellectual freedom and argue against independent thought. We will argue, as we have from the start, that those who see themselves as our "enemies" should retain their full rights to a free press, open debate and intellectual freedom -- the same objectives we have for ourselves and for all others. The Anti-Defamation League, along with other organizations and individuals who make up the outrageously profitable Holocaust Industry, argues that free inquiry and open debate are an assault against the memory of the dead. We absolutely disagree! To suppress open debate and censor the results of free inquiry constitute an assault against the memory of the dead. The vulgar exploitation of the Jewish dead for money and influence is contemptible, while the endless exploitation of living Germans for money and influence is inexcusable. Meanwhile, the tens of millions of other victims of World War II are irreverently forgotten, including even those Americans who were convinced they were fighting against tyranny in the name of liberty for all - including both Germans and Jews. It's time to abandon our heartless devotion to the orthodox, politically correct view of what happened during WWII, and to restore our moral and national integrity by standing with the great ideals of American culture - intellectual freedom and an open society. There is no other kind of society in which historical truth can even be approached. I urge you to join with us in our effort to replace intellectual tyranny with intellectual freedom, and to help absolve the German people of those false charges of unique monstrosity with which they have been burdened for half a century.
